Internal Details of the Bonnet

Step 1

Retrieve your Bonnet assembly from the previous stage. Fit the large circular openings of the Bonnet Airfoil over these two posts on the underside of the Bonnet.

This can inadvertently be fitted backwards – make sure it is placed correctly, as shown here:

Step 2

Fit the Bonnet Vent Frame over the Bonnet Airfoil, aligning the four mounting tabs to the matching posts on the Bonnet, as shown.

If the center ‘blade’ of the Vent Frame has dislodged during shipping, simply pop it back into the center slots of the Frame:

Secure the Bonnet Vent Frame to the Bonnet with four (4) Type D screws.

Thoughts

With this stage complete, we can now store this Bonnet assembly someplace safe for now. In the next few stages, I believe we will begin to focus entirely on the symphonic workhorse of our LaFerrari – the iconic and hand-built 950hp 6.3L V12 engine!
