The Engine Support Arms
Step 1
Retrieve your Engine assembly from the previous stage. Firmly press the square peg of the right Support Arm (marked ‘R’) into this matching hole on the right side of the Motor Base, orienting it as shown:
Step 2
On the other side of the Motor Base, press the two pins of the Protection Panel down into the matching holes at these locations:
Then, firmly press the round peg of the left Support Arm (marked ‘L’) into this nearby matching hole of the Motor Base.
As this peg is circular, make sure this Support Arm is straight and oriented as shown:
Step 3
Firmly press the posts of the Timing Cover into the matching holes at the front face of the Engine assembly, as shown:
Thoughts
I was hoping we would finish the engine in this Pack 4, but it does not appear that we will. That just means it is going to get even better! Until the next pack arrives, keep the unused Water Pump, Belt, Joint, Crankshaft Pulley, and Belt Cover safely stored somewhere.
